Our record in round 2 last ten years is 4 wins 6 losses.

Last time we won in round 1 prior to 202@ was 2013 we lost then in round 2.

Played Canberra only once ever in round 2 for a win.

2008 was last time we won our first 2 games, we had a good year that's year, till Birdy issues

I am more confident when we play a “good” team, generally we are far more fired up and motivated.

The question I have is “How much preparation did we put into “winning” round 1?”

Are the boys going to be flat, or is the new level of fitness going to see us through?

It’s pretty good if you live in WA. I can take my son to one of the wet season waterfalls and then come home in time to watch the game.

Welcome back Cardy..... I’ve got a good feeling about this one. While they have a brutal pack of forwards I feel they’re a little vulnerable in the backs. Would love to see Talakai back to replace Jesse as I feel his size and brutal defence could be useful. Big challenge for our pigs... definitely need more size on the bench. No way Magoo plays. Duges gets to fire up against his second old side in consecutive weeks and Royce would love to play against his old club as well but I doubt he’ll be ready. Good early guide as to where we’re at without the pressure of trying to break our duck egg.

That’s certainly a bonus. I reckon we start the year 0-2 nearly as much as we start 0-1....always playing catch up.

This Sunday will be worse than last Sunday as it’s the first day of no daylight savings.

Last week about the 50 minute mark Raiders went kaboom and blew Tigs to kingdome come.
At about the same time in our game we went soft and decide to stop tackling and catching bombs.
