I tell you what though it was difficult to recognise a lot of the players ... they've either grown/shorn/dyed their hair making them near unrecognisable from last years model.

a little write up in one of the rags about Daniel joyce,Said that he was trying to shoulder charge everything that moved with mixed success and then went to say he is a MONSTER..

Any recollections of this beast,bay.

Yea I read that mate ... without a team sheet I found it diff to recognise players ... there were a lot of blonde, short cropped haired forwards in our side ... they were like magpies, difficult to tell the difference so I didnt focus on any one of them :lol: ... overall I dont think we will be short of a forward this year

... in fact other than a game winning centre/wing to partner the likes of Monas I think we are pretty well covered in most positions.

... now it's up to the coach to mould them into a winning combination (refer other thread)

Thanks for the running commentary Bay56. I'm bummed I missed the game, but it sounds like a good hitout from the young fellas like Joyce and McCrone.
