Anybody that supports a team based in Campbeltown has no right to call Canberra a sh*thole.

I don't live anywhere near Campbelltown, but its certainly a better place than Canberra, thats for sure.

Kirribilly House, fireworks, porn, weed and the Canberra Raiders. Possibly the worlds worst city? I say yes.

You mean the Lodge? Kirribilli House is on Sydney Harbour...

Bill Bryson is a pretty good judge and he wasn't too fond of Canberra.

I've liked the way the Raider have been playing recently- well even as far back as last year. It is a vast improvement on that boring as bat sh*t approach that was drilled into them in the Elliot formative years.

I agree with Eddie, getting beaten by a Canberra team that offered nothing was always hard to swallow. It was the battle between 2 mediocre sides and one always played above their weight. Fast-forward to 2007 and once again the sides are evenly matched, although Canberra have plenty of skill. If Wests were to be beaten by Canberra next week I'd take it exactly the same way as getting done by Brisbane and the plethora of other sides who manage to beat us.

I agree Tv Ted

I took at least 4 years to get over Alan Toungue smothering Mark Oneill dead in his tracks when 2cm out from the line. That was until a player at Henley park named Fati El Ali got run down by Ricky Walford after having to turn and chase. I also remember you directing some vile and unrepeatable abuse towards the Turd mid way through the 2005 encounter such was your desperation to beat Canberra.

Hang on a second, I'm confused - why are we supposed to hate the Tigers? From memory it's them that bitch and moan every year and we just laugh at them out of pity more than anything else - why are we supposed to be the ones angry at them now?

I always found it funny how much they hated us and how little we cared because they mean nothing to us. What a sad day that my fellow Raider fans are caving in to their level. :(

I always saw it in the same way, although in reverse.

Canberra were a side to pity...

How can we be a side to pity when we've ben kickin your asses since you merged? Apart from 2005 where you won the comp, we've finished above you every year. And don't get me started on how much we've smashed Balmain since 89 either...or the Magpies since the 80's for that matter.

To me...both Balmain and Wests are, and always will be clubs to pity. With them merged it's just double the pity.

89 set things in motion, but some of the tigpies fans' reaction to the hit on Monaghan in 2004 is what fired it up again.

Ok Why not.

As stated. I want snow, Shayne Hayne as Reff, Bill Harrigan as Video Reff and Alan Foster and Steve Lyon as the sideline guys, I want Carney to play. I want Schiffroidski to come down for a reunion and get hit by a car in the parking lot.

I don't hate Canberra for their fans or their team. I hate Canberra because it is a place founded as a ghetto for scum public service employees and those who want an early taste of purgatory.

That and my first school excursion to Canberra ended badly. I was punished because this Grizzly Adams looking wanker was our tour guide and kept wanking on and on about how much he loved Walter Burley Griffin and so forth. He got all bitchy when I told him Adelaide was a better designed city. He called me an idiot, I called him a f**kwit and was strictly supervised for the rest of the trip.

Trip number two. Friends phone card (before the prevelance of mobile phones) was chewed by a public phone and he got a fine for swearing in public (???)

Trip 3. Waited two days for a decent cup of coffee in that dump. Finally got it and after my first mouthfull a fly landed in it and started doing backstroke.

All minor incidents but all part of the rich tapestry that causes me to loathe the dump.

FTR I believe we will loose but if we win maybe a commemerative burnout in respect for Todd Carney.

f**k Canberra, f**k it all to hell.

PS: I love you Raider69
Funny thing is I was just telling a mate the other day that most wankers you see around Canberra were visitors.

Feel free to stay where you are.

Game, Set, Match.

Be honest, how much did it hurt?

Raiders can win all the minor scuffles in July they wish. However I will always see them as minnows in comparison until they can win the competition. Just a fact of life.

They certainly won't be doing that any time soon.
