I'm up here at Rockhampton and we've been told to evacuate the suburb of Gracemere because of bushfires ,and you guys are being washed out....crazy days.

On the Sunny Coast. No fire yet, but hot very windy and dry, power out most of today from fallen trees in my area. Throw another 5 degrees on for Rocky temps. Good luck and stay safe.

Thanks 2010 .Yes I've been visiting up there for five days but I was at the airport when I heard the order was given to evacuate , I'd left Gracemere about an hour before and am back in Newcastle now.....after a shaky landing because of the wind. My son lives on the other side of Rockhampton and they are safe for the moment.
