WHILE A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE TALKING UP ROBBIE FARAHS CREDENTIALS AND CLAIMS TO A BENCH SPOT IN FIRST GRADE MY MONEY IS ON SCHULZY TO GET THE NOD NOTHING AGAINST ROBBIE BUT THE ONLY POINTS DECISION HE WOULD GET OVER SCHULZY IS HIS ABILITY TO KICK FROM DUMMY HALF. SCHULZYS EXPLOSIVE SPEED OFF THE MARK MAKE HIM A MENACE TO ANY DEFENCE AND HIS LINE BREAK STATS WOULD MORE THAN STACK UP AGAINST MOST OTHER HOOKERS.

While I agree Schulz is a player of the future with great potential , I wouldn't expect him to feature in first grade until well into next year unless Farah, Galea and the likes go down with injury. He's still a young bloke and is not the kind of player I would want rushed into first grade too soon.

A great player

I'm yet to see him dominate a game like Robbie can though

I agree he's very unlikely to play first grade this year - next year its possible but a lot will depend on how Robbie comes back from his injury.

If Robbie recovers well and manages to reach his potential I can't find a place for Schulz but he's certainly going to keep him on his toes.

He dominated the game against Parra - he carved them up all over the park by himself last year

I like the kid and well its clear the Hooking role at the Wests Tigers is one area in which we shouldn't have too many problems in over the next 10yrs at least - if of course we can keep the young players

He was very good all last year

I still maintain that I have never seen him dominate a game to the extent that Farah can.

I have no doubt he hasn't mainly because he is a different player and dosn't have the kicking game Robbie has but either way he has dominated both JF and PL sides last year - especially when Balmain were down and not showing anything in the tank

yes he has

but that doesn't change my point - that if robbie regains his best form there is very little hope of shultz gaining a first grade spot at the tigers any time in the forseeable future - he certainly looks to have first grade promise but I don't believe he has nearly as much potential as robbie does.

If robbie does then I agree but if he dosn't then well compition should be very interesting to see
