Toulouse in Super League for five years would quite literally solves 99% of International Rugby Leagues problems.

30-40 Full time professionals working under both club and a high performance unit similar to Argentina in Rugby

When marketed *CORRECTLY* they can get 15k to cities like Avignon, Toulouse and Perpignan.

The only second tier Northern Hemisphere nation that could host minor tours and tournaments.
Genuinely wild that Argentina are better at Rugby Union than France are at Rugby League right now

After doing a google deep dive ( yes it’s that hard to find league results )it appears France won 48- 6

all in all looks like no games were close, average winning margin was 50pnts.

youd think the official irl website would have updated the result on their website instead of promoting a game that was played a week ago.

France and Cook Islands will be a shoe in to qualify for the wc in next years World Series. Its a shame a heritage team ( cooks ) will take the place of either sth Africa or jamaca.

@Clarkent is it too early to pop the champagne??

Haas playing for Samoa would be as big as Lolo switching to Tonga.

A full strength Samoa would be very difficult to beat.
Tino is also another one that would complete that Samoa forward pack. Imagine this line up next year at the Pac Championship

1 Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
2 Brian To'o
3 Stephen Critchon
4 Izack Tago
5 Murray Taulagi
6 Blaize Talagi
7 Jarome Luai
8 Payne Haas
9 Chanel Harris-Tevita
10 Junior Paulo
11 Jayd'n Sua
12 Jeremiah Nanai
13 Tino Fa'asuamaleaui

14 Sua Faalogo
15 Spencer Leniu
16 Nelson Asofa-Solomona
17 Shaun Blore

I wouldn't say as big as Taumalolo because the Samoan team is already stacked before Haas even joined. But it definitely weakens the kangaroos, and also gets likes of Tino or Hammer thinking "geez this samoan team might be something special, I want to be a part of this" mentality.

Has NAS said he’ll play for Samoa ?

Tino was on a podcast a few months ago and he said he’ll always play for Australia as long as he’s picked but hopes to represent Samoa later in his career.

Tino Fa'asuamaleaui I haven't heard anything about him yet tbh but surely he'll get tempted to play for samoa seeing Haas join the samoan will persuade him. I think the match against Tonga will definitely get alot of the samoan boys excited and they will all want to get involved. Nas did say last year he wants to represent Samoa, next year is his best chance of making the team tbh samoa are stacked with front rowers.

For reference, usually European Rugby League carries full results within 24-48 hours of most internationals.

Similarly those Euro Qualifier finals were up on Rugby League Project and LU's senior international match results article the day after they were played.

Google isn't what it used to be in looking for this type of thing.

Apparently the last World Cup in England lost 470k pounds

After the govt gave them tens of millions in funding how do the organisers not make a profit ?
