The Prime Minister of Australia swanned about like he owned the joint; and why shouldn't he? So far nobody had so much as looked at him. Maybe they all assumed he was harmless old Gollum? He certainly looked the party.

But on that chilly night, as he regaled Trent and David, his bodyguards with tales of his bravery in the face of droves of murderous boat people - somebody noticed him.

His attacker hurled a knife from the shadows, but both of his bodyguards were quick to react. Whether out of loyalty to their Prime Minister or a desire to be free from his waffling, we'll never know.

Trent & David are dead. They were Trent & David, Town Aligned Long Suffering Bodyguards of Tony Abbott.
