There's a big difference between saying, "Ronnie thanks for your service but we're moving in a different direction" to saying "Ronnie f off"
Typical crap that only winning will stop.

Just letting you guys know that I got a phone call from Wests Tigers yesterday about my email to them regarding Ronnie Palmer's situation.
The young lad said Ronnie was not sacked but his services were not needed next year. [Polite way of saying he's sacked] and
They acknowledged that the way it was portrayed in the media was not ideal and that the club farewelled Ronnie internally. He asked me what I would have like to have seen and
I said they still should have given him a farewell bbq/function and the members made aware of it and have the bbq at an open day meet and greet.
He said he would pass my comments onto the Wests Tigers media group.
I was happy that they at least bothered to call me and not just gave me a group email.
Another thing I mentioned was interstate season ticket holders should have a free meet and greet once a year as part of their membership. Charging them 120 bucks is not very encouraging.

I'll give Pascoe some credit as he as a CEO has got the club in a pretty healthy position and after his sacking he hasn't blasted the club, instead he has said several times that the club in a really good position to steam ahead.
Having said that, if he said anything to the contrary it would only reflect poorly on him and his future employment.
I do wonder how more successful the club would have been without him and the board continually stuffing things up.
Still, he went out graciously but LEE didn't. He continues to put the club down.

At my age though, I'm more contented now to speak to more educated, friendly, loyal, funny people like yourself and the other regulars on here.
It's not a popularity contest, it's mates having a yarn, like being at at pub.

Wide World of Sports has reported that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mark Sawicki has left the club. However, unlike Pascoe and Hagipantelis, his departure is on his own terms.

A good operator for the club over the years, Sawicki will join the St Geroge Illawarra Dragons as he lives closer to the Wollongong area and will not have to make the long drive down to Tigertown.

The cleanout continues. I don't know much about this one.
