Rank the Marvel Movies

Just having a quick read through, it amazes me people have forgotten the 2003 film "Hulk" which was the first Marvel movie with the Incredible Hulk. Remember, Eric Banna was Bruce Banner? we then got the 2008 "The Incredible Hulk" with Ed Norton.

Neither were great admittedly but how could you forget both of them? :sarcasm:

We're only ranking movies within the marvel cinematic universe, so Ang Lees version doesn't count

I can deal with plot holes as long as the movie is good enough to make me forget about them.
Terminator 2 for instance is filled with holes.

T2? I don't remember any that were really glaring.

But Iron Man 3, sheesh they blew an opportunity there:

- The famous Mandarin twist had balls and was funny I'll admit... but it killed off the most interesting villain the IM universe and the best part of the trailer. All tension died with him.
- Killian was mildly interesting, but not developed enough to be the main antagonist and was a rehash of The Incredibles villain anyway
- Stark vows to protect Pepper at any cost, then does the exact opposite of that most of the time
- Stark gives his home address away (awesome scene) but then fails to set up ANY defense. Why didn't he unleash those remote suits?
- Iron Man suits nearly indestructible in IM1, now get smashed to bits by a truck?
- Plot thread on panic attacks, disappeared
- Plot thread on annoying kid, disappeared
- Iron Patriot, John Favreau, that other chick, all wasted and added nothing.
- Where were the Avengers? At least bother to write them out of the story.
- No continuity with Avengers 2, he blew up all his suits and 'cured' himself, ruining all the previous drama of needing that arc reactor

........ and it goes on

I can take a few issues in any movie but this script was as I said earlier, f*cking lazy
Downey Jnr looked bored comparing it to IM1, was like a 2 hour Tony Stark stand-up

I absolutely loved the trailer and the first 30 minutes of setup, it could have been the best IM movie and possibly the best of all the Marvel movies if it worked with its material.

i prefer all the stand alone hero movies more than Avengers

1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
2. Iron Man
3. Captain America: The First Avenger
4. Guardians of the Galaxy
5. Ant Man
6. Avengers
7. Iron Man 2
8. The Avengers: Age Of Ultron
9. The Incredible Hulk
10. Iron Man 3
11. Thor
12. Thor: The Dark World
13. Iron Man 3

I just don't like the Thor movies in comparison to the others. i liked Nortons Hulk though thought it was going in a good direction, would love to see a stand alone Hulk with Ruffalo

I don't think it was a part of the actual MCU that they have built up. That started with Iron Man.

But if it was included I would rank it higher than The Incredible Hulk.

I found the Avengers comics boring as shit and the films have been mostly the same.

1) Guardians of the Galaxy
2) Captain America 2
3) Everything else except for...
4) Ant Man
5) Iron Man 3
