This has deadset been the best RAW i have watched in YEARS!!
and i put this achievment on Jericho, as much as him on screen as possible is required to get ratings back

Jericho is the man, he puts bums in seats and people watching the box

Also im really starting to dig the face Batista vibe, as i read somewhere they are doing everything right that they f**ked up with Orton

And im growing to Edge, he is becoming alot more entertaining, he has always been solid in the ring but his promoing as of late is really picking up, ill probably be smashed here for saying as much but outside Y2J, he is next for my list of title preference.

Tonight was the first time I'd watched Raw in over a year, thank God for my parents having Austar. I did see a fair portion of Maven's poorly GMed show, so it was good to see Jericho doing things right. Let's see, here's my 'analysis'.

- Intro was strong. As Raider said, Jericho is a must if they're to get good ratings. Without the likes of The Rock around, he's the best speaker they've got. The segment with he, HHH, and Vince was good too.

- Maven vs. Eugene was ok, I guess. I think Maven is a decent talent, but he's too often used in stupid angles. Not sure where his heel turn is going.

- Chick limbo contest: As much as I love the eye candy value of things like this, they're starting to get on my nerves. Every other week they've got some 'first time ever' contest involving scantily clad women. I'd rather lose these and see one more match. It's not like they're using everyone they've got at the moment.

- Captain Charisma vs. Shelton Benjamin was decent enough. I haven't seen a lot of Benjamin, but I liked what I saw. Does he have a personality though? Like that Tonto dude as well, does he get in the ring often? He looked intimidating, like when Batista first joined.

- Edge and Randy Orton 'brawl'. I like Randy Orton, and Edge has always been one of my favourite wrestlers. It's a shame the WWE felt like delaying the match a week, because it would have been a rip-snorter.

- Jericho/Benoit vs. HHH/Batista. I only caught snatches of this match, since I was watching the final overs of the one dayer between Australia and New Zealand. I've seen them all wrestle a million times before, and what I did see was what I expected. Good match, with a predictable ending. If Batista makes a face turn, won't that basically kill Evolution? What happened to stables in the WWE? They're always small and/or useless these days. Bring back DX, the Corporation, the Nation of Domination, and the Ministry!

- Trish vs. Lita. I missed a lot of the buildup, but the segments caught me up fairly well. Not sure why a female match was deemed worthy of a main event slot, but it was an entertaining enough match. Geez, Trish has improved a million times over since her debut.

Ric Flare looks like he's permanently on the verge of having an anurism.

I thought last week was slightly better,

This week was cool, that lita vs trish match was good lol, i wanted lita to win after that botched attempt to dive out the ring..

shelton is a great talent and mr charisma is turning into a real good wrestler, hopefully both these guys stay injury free from here.

That whole ric flair kissing tripple h's ass was funny during the phone call lol.

Shelton is a good talent and will be around for awhile me thinks. Christian also is coming of age, that costume - GOLD JERICHO! GOLD!

That botched dive was shocking!!! I couldnt believe she was still walking!! But that was without a doubt the best female match ive ever seen!!

They did Vince proud with that effort I reckon. I have never seen a women's match with the participants going in so hard. Usually the chicks seem a little bit uncertain or hesitant but last night those two showed little regard for their own wellbeing. I imagine it would be considered a new benchmark for women's matches in future.

one could only hope so, that match was really entertaining, if they keep to that standard then the womens division will become something worth while

Trsh V Stephanie McMahon is another good womens match.

I loved the interaction with Orton and Edge.

HHH and Batista is beginning to pick up very nicely but they must continue to do it slow if they want it to capture the fans imagination.

I still believe that Y2J is the best all round talent the WWE has these days. I dont think the bloke knows how to suck. And when he and fozzy were singing "CC" goodbye....................PURE GOLD!

Y2J is one of the best entertainers in the WWE history. The more he is involved the more intresting RAW will get.
They Raw writing team took a gamble putting a womens title match in the main event. But it paid off and they pulled of a great match.
I hope all the Edge haters on this forum saw RAW this week because he is really getting over with the fans now and he is becoming a great heel.

Getting back to Jericho though, I think its about time he has a title run. Ever since he lost the undisputed, besides the rematch on RAW, the only shots he's had were in both Elimination Chambers. Y2J is RAW, and a big reason that I keep watching is because of the ayotollah of rock and rollah!

amen, jericho, orton, batisa cena and carlito are the only reason i watch a read about it atm, the rest are boring me, ive been slowing getting more into it now, Shelton, Haas etc are also sparking more interest.

But if Jericho would win the title and had a decent run i would be full on into like i was a few years ago

It seems to me that Smackdown has the run of main even talent, even if HHH is over at Raw. Share the love Smackdown! Send Cena their way!

Wrong. IMO she is one of the best heels on either roster, be it male or female. She just come across as a stuck up b*tch and it's great for her character.

Raw was good this week. Jericho really needs to be in the title picture more often. Apart from his Elimination Chamber matches I cant remember the last time he challenged for the title. He needs a good run with the belt. He is way past IC title level.

Right about Trish. She is a fantastic heel and face and thats what makes her the best Diva possibly ever in the Wrestling industry.

I agree on Trish. Some of the footage I saw of her goading Lita (the wedding etc.) was some of the best heel work I've seen on Raw or Smackdown in ages. She's subtle enough that it's not painful to watch, yet obvious enough that the average fan gets it. Far better than some of the other heels going around atm.
