then you have no right to complain that you find the episodes predictable.
100% correct here lotm, it is no surprise that he is enjoying smackdown more than Raw, because he isnt looking at spoilers for smackdown.
If you look at spoilers, then you generally left with wrestling as a pure spectacle, which means you like watching the high spots (largely cruiserweights) and those wrestlers who give off the impression that they hit each move with perfection (Angle, Benoit, Hart etc). You miss out on viewing the skills of the older Wrestlers in full flight (hogan, Austin, Undertaker, Rock, Nash, Hall etc) These guys draw on the energy of the crowd, and their in ring skills are more appreciated when viewed with the entire buildup and interview skills. Essentially, they have sports entertaining skills rather than just sports wrestling skills. If you look at say Hogan v Rock with no sound and no buildup, it will look like a poor match, Turn up the sound, commentry pre match buildup and it was one of the greatest ever. Same Goes for Hogan/Andre and many other matches. It is unfair to judge the WWE's current product and lack of surprises as just a sports event when it is really a sports entertainment package. Saying that, I try not to read spoilers and the product is currently still pretty ordinary by past standards, although it has been improving in recent months.
