I need some help here.

Eeels great Ray Price use to have that unusual stance where, when the opposition team was attempting a conversion or penalty goal. Remember that? Waiting for the rebound off the posts in that prayer-like stance?

Well . . .

Question: Throughout his 10 year career in Rugby League with the Eels (not including his years at Union prior to joining the Eels), did he ever catch one of those kicks that fail to go through the posts on the full?

I have a decent wager on this.

Yep, it was featured on Boots n' All early this season and they said he never caught one.

Middleton (the guy is a freak) is probably the only one would could tell you for sure (apart from the great man himself of course).

Ray Price never caught one! Ever. Well, not in League anyway. Sterlo has attested to that many times.

speaking of Pricy and co, I'd like to start classic matches thread where one of us can start off talking about a memorable match and everyone who remembers the match can contribute to it.

Not many of us here would off been around the time but in 1979 I remeber a classic match at the old Cumberland oval where we beat Norths 41 to 3 with the Crow scoring 3 times and kicking 9 goals, I rmember vivadly as I'm sitting on the pool end of the oval and the Crow made a break and found Nifty Glover out side him to streak away for a try.

Sorry!! to get carried away but it was a beautiful moment! especially for a 9 year old who hadn't discovered girls yet!

anyway as our season comes to a close on sunday lets make it a weekly event!! through the off season shall we???
