One of the worst halves of RL I've seen this season.
Both teams are 2nd rate.

I just don't understand why we have come out and played so poorly after last week's abomination.
There is no line speed in defence. There is no wrapping the ball up in the tackle, allowing the Cowboys to offload. There is not intent in chasing kicks. There is no slowing the play the ball down. We are doing everything the opposite to what the top teams do. I know we are not one of the top teams, but I expected better after having had 60+ put on us last week.
Thank f**k we are playing the Cowboys. They are just as bad. Even when we got that penalty early, Moses was nonchalant when kicking for touch and gained maybe just 10 metres when he could have gained 30. Our whole performance has been completely amateurish and lackluster.
I expected better. I saw them take a high kick mid way through the half. The chase was ok, but instead of hammering the guy, Taka chased, then stood 10 metres away and waited for the runner to reach him. This sort of shite just isn't good enough.
I just don't get why we aren't pumped.
The Cowboys are there for the taking tonight. Unless we lift our game, this will be another of those "what could have been" games.

Paulo, Alvaro, Mau and Mahoney's defensive stats are all not great. The bench of Mannah, Tepai and Penis' stats continue the trend but are slightly better (when you take into account the reduced minutes they are prob the same).
