Yeah, I've has a few in the Family. And the Spermo. My old local was the "Local" at West Ryde, among others. My old local. Scummy place but I loved it!
I used to ride shotgun delivering Dales soft drinks to the Valley and Rydalmere on every saturday when I was a young spider. End of the day the boss would shout me a lemon squash but I had to sit outside in those days, because rules. As time went on the Family became my local haunt with all the pub bands of the late 70's and early 80's. To see a band you had a to buy a meal ticket or you couldn't get in. I went back later when it was the Spur Steak Ranch but haven't been for years. I suppose moving north of the border recently doesn't help either. My old local. Scummy place but I loved it!
I saw Cold Chisel for the first time at the Local. I also remember War & Peace in Parra but for some reason I couldn't take to that place.Yeah, I've has a few in the Family. And the Spermo. My old local was the "Local" at West Ryde, among others.

Tell korny to take care
She and her hubby live on Crowgey. They do heavy vehicle escort in a panel van with orange flashiing lights. I only met them a few times. Salt of the earth people though. That rings a bell. Can you elaborate?
edit: Just saw your above post.
I would have delivered soft drinks there. Did you have a hot sister who would come to the door in her underwear looking smashed from a Friday night out?I lived in Dundas from 1971 till 1988. Parents still live there. Just.
Right near St Patricks College where I went to school. Just off Kirby st.
