Lets give Huth a wrap, first forward in history to have 0 hit ups, what a workhorse..

Not his fault, hes not up to it and Ivan keeps doing him dirty..

I agree with everything here but ‘at his best he is safe as houses’. Kid tries really hard and clearly cares, but he always makes dumb errors. Fullbacks are always going to drop kicks, but the shepherd was just stupid.

I've always viewed him as Dylan lite. Scraps hard and doesn't make errors. His defensive play on the Lucas disallowed try is evidence for his defensive work.

Except for about 2 years now none of it is true. He makes whopping errors and he costs us points. Its not what we want from him. If he isn't creating points then he has to be save them.

Eisenhuth should be in a retirement home not on a footy field. 0 runs 0 hit ups in your stint as a forward is enough to get you sacked

His pathetic "attempts" at tackle have directly cost us 12 points. That's before we even begin with his awful work with the ball. He's f**king putrid. Comfortably the worst player that's even semi regularly put on the shirt this decade.

Belinda Sharp, Origin, Henry and that passenger Leota can also join him out of a cannon into the sun. Pathetic half of football by almost everyone. The Sommerton/Kenny dynamic actually kind of working is the only even remotely silver lining.
The second rower on his edge looks like peak Sonny Bill Williams. Yet people defend his selection saying his defence gets him in.

We score less points with him on the field. But we don’t concede less. So how does that make us better?

Cole and Talagi should be the halves. It’s not great obviously. But they combined for 5 tries against Storm. Conceded only 3 as a combination too. Being less robotic snd slower worked.

Mate he's shit but he's maybe our 10th worst player tonight

I am absolutely fuming ATM but lets make this thread somewhat 'fun'.

Who are our worst performers?

1. Laurie - Errors galore and several of them were geniused.
2. Eiso - no runs and got hooked after 10 mins. Knights were running through our middle like they weren't even there. The dude is just far too slow for this level.
3. Henry - was a part of the 6 again which gifted the Knights field position for their first try - followed by a completely idiotic sin binning.
4. Smith - Dumb penalties and looks like a defensive liability. He was getting caught behind the ruck many times.
5. Schneider - When it comes to passing or kicks - he looks like a slow motion replay - in real time. Offers nothing
6. Alamoti - errors, silly plays and is a member of the edge getting torn to shreds by the Knights #11 who looks like an absolute weapon.
7. Blaize - Is suspect defensively but hasn't had much of a chance to do much with the ball. He has got to learn how to draw a player then pass though. A few times on the edge he passed the ball at exactly the wrong time. What I mean is that he didn't draw a defender but passed it to the centre of winger just as they were about to be tackled. You either pass the ball early to give your outside man space - or 'Late' when you have drawn a defender.

What I liked;

Patea had a very solid outing and Knights struggled to contain him.

Yes everyone Rugby League is a game of two halves. Let's just hold it for a bit?

Newcastle have lost Elliott and have a guy with a dislocated shoulder out there. Their forward advantage will be diminished by games end. Keep up the intensity and we can find ourselves in this game.
