With a result like tonight's against an absolute rabble like the Knights, it is time to declare 2025 an official rebuild year move on. It's hard to see the prospects of a win in the other Origin match ups ending any differently, injury comebacks included.

A few first-grade careers have surely had curtains drawn on them after tonight, at least from a long-term perspective. Then again, a Laurie or a Schneider might find a home in Port Moresby or Perth. You'd think time is up for Huth.

Coming into this game. Our tries per minute were 1 every 45 minutes with Schneider.

After giving him a full 80 minutes against a reserve grade side. It’s now 1 try every 54 minutes.

i know it’s not him exclusively that’s bad. But you can’t win games if you score less than a try per half on average. We had no chance before kick off.
