The NRL match review committee/judiciary have no credibility whatsoever.

The tackle was very late and was clearly a cheap shot on our playmaker. The grading is farcical and the tackle was deserving of two to three weeks at the very least.

If one of our players had committed a similar tackle and received such a punishment I would have no complaints whatsoever.

Parra deserved there win they were the better side for all but a ten minute spell. Disappointing result.

So the initial poster said that Pauli said "something" and your sure that it was a negative comment ?
So we now have a couple of people who have no idea, but are purely guessing.
I'm not defending Pauli's on field indiscretion and Soward's your guy, so there's a little more venom coming from your side of the fence , and whilst he may of said something derogatory, give the guesswork a miss.

I never said it was a negative comment. I just said he went close to bryce whilst approaching the conversion from the sideline and put him off his kick.

I was also only referring to the simple fact that he was smiling immediately after belting a guy half his size illegally, yet it was suggested by an earlier post that he is a gentleman. Hardly condeming him

I thought peachey was unbelievably lucky vs broncos not to get 9 weeks.

Entirely different type of tackle. The lifting tackle's can and often do go wrong for a combination of reasons and more importantly with no intent on the part of the offending player. Tyrone Peachy was involved in a tackle which went horribly wrong but you could hardly accused him of being a player who deliberately had the intent to place a player in a dangerous position. The tackle on Soward was avoidable and was a deliberate act on the part of the offending player who intended to take Soward out. He did so very effectively and the grading on the tackle is a joke quite frankly.

Wasn't trying to compare tackles. Just that both penrith and parra have been a bit fortunate with gradings of late

Peachey got the same charge and grade as Greg Bird. Peach had no priors, so 2 weeks. Bird had a heap of priors, so 8 weeks. That is how the system works.

A higher grading would of been 7-9 weeks - with no priors. Hence fortunate.

You said that "he said something to put him off", so that would have to have been a negative comment ?

No. I said "went close to cartwright as he was taking the conversion and said something to put him off".
Hence putting him off kicking the goal. So in effect, you just read half a sentence....... Who is guessing now?. fmd
