JFH played the full half. Was playing well so why change it

22-18. was always time to bring the starting props on given the circumstances
That’s fine, but your assessment of Spencer’s 10 minute cameo is ridiculous given the period of the game he was thrown on. Deserved to be hooked, seriously. As if everything during that period was all Spencer’s doing, gimme a break. His 50th game tonight, May as well be left on the bench, I really felt for the kid tonight.

You realise Sorensen and Spencer both went off at the same time?

Its irrelevant. The kid should have been brought on with 10 to go in the first half when we were cruising. Ideal time when we were on top, it’s when he does his best work. Put whatever spin on it you want, but it is just BS, he’s another to be going out the exit door and frankly I can’t blame the kid if he does. I feel gutted for him.

It's like it is personal.

We are so dominant in meterage that plods like Huth and Sorenson look good, this dominance won't last forever and we'll hurt for not having Leniu who can hit a line like he means it.

fish with 220m gained
44 tackles with 0 misses gets none?

SOS had 3 try assists too

Edwards of course his usual great game
Thankfully your not awarding the points, I think most neutral observers would agree Dylan will figure in the points somewhere.
It's the issue with the ŕètarded Dally M system. Every player should be scored out of 10 every game.
Fish was great but the dogs pack had no one. Dylan was also excellent but Api Controled the whole game and made 50 tackles

I can’t explain it.

I agree with you I think he has to move on to realise his potential.

Its just not happening for him here and I just don’t understand it.

I’ve no idea who the judge was tonight it will be interesting to see where the points go.

I think Dylan will get the three. I hope he does, it would elevate up into top 5.

Happy with that. Got what we expect from the regulars which was more than enough. I thought the new inclusions all played well, if a bit unpolished at times. I thought Smith in particular played well in the time he had. Falls was good when he got involved and defended well. Pretty impressive to have 4 halves at the club who all put their bodies on the line in defense. We've come a long way since the days of watching Luke Walsh jump out of the way.

Absolutely love the way Kikau's playing. He's terrorising the little guys on both sides on the ball. It's to his credit that he's clearly determined to end his time here on top. He might actually be the piece the Dogs need to get out of their funk next year and I'm very worried that he might be more important to us than many realise.

There were a few comments on here about Burton's kicking on here after last week, which I think would have to be silenced after tonight. His boot was ridiculous. That kick in the first half was disgustingly good. Absolutely uncatchable, wouldn't even mark Edwards down half a point for dropping it. Gave Staines a bath with outstanding vision for two tries and scored a third. He's the only player worth feeding in that mess of a team which makes the fact he's giving them diamonds amongst rocks pretty extraordinary.

For all the talk of the Salmon no try decision, the worst call of the night was the penalty against Falls that lead to their third try. He was very obviously being locked in by the defender. Overall it was another game where we clearly dominated both sides of the ruck yet somehow managed to be repeatedly penalised in the opposition half in questionable, inconsistent ways. It's pretty obvious that someone, somewhere doesn't like the way we chokehold teams out of matches. It doesn't really worry me in games like this, but it better not happen in games that matter.

Could you imagine us letting big t go in his prime....

Well this is it.

Kiks is the most dynamic forward in the game..

I just cant believe we are letting him go..

There is a few stars id have let go before him.

Anyway... lets have a big 2nd 40..up the boys
It’s his prime this year. How quickly does that form recede is a question we can’t answer right now.

If I'm Leniu's manager I'm asking for a release. I got no answers for what Ivan is doing with him.
The kid is what? 21. Playing the hardest position on the field. Obviously Haas has changed the way people perceive young front rowers and what is expected of them, but I am happy for Ivan to keep his minutes down as long as there is a way to keep him long-term.

He was poor tonight, but been brilliant for us all year; really impactful minutes off the bench.

I actually think kennys been really good plying the cam murray role.

Again tonight hes carries were really strong not that he had many. But he doesnt get dominated and he gets quick play the balls..

Ive always been a fan of him and api on together. It works well.

They are both brilliant defenders with top nothch fitness and line speed...

Hes not a world beater bit hes a handy bloke coming off the pine.

At his best when he just digs in and doesnt overplay his hand
I think Kenny will surprise a lot on here next year. He is developing really nicely and seems a high character player.

I totally agree. Some of the generalised statements are almost amusing.

Maybe Leniu was unwell tonight. Who knows.

I know that Ivan only used 6 interchanges tonight.

I thought C Smith had a great game tonight. He looked real strong. His super coach score ws relatively modest, which underlines how shallow basing someone's game on just their super coach score is.

Burton scored that try due to poor ruck control from Mitch Kenny. He allowed the guy to play it quick which took him out of play as marker and allowed the hooker to engage Api who was the A defender who in a normal defensive structure would be on the first receiver in Burton. Should have better ruck control from a guy looking to be a first grade hooker next year.

Fair enough to be still developing his attacking game but controlling the ruck in defence he should have no excuse. Like say a guy Leniu's can a bit hit and miss with it but the positives he brings is how physical his contact is along with his quick play the balls with his leg speed. Defence like ruck control should be one of the strengths of a player like Kenny.

If you disagree thats fine... but surely you cant agree with them watching double movements in slow mo as per tonight....

That is seriously a farce.... they are msking a decision on momentum in slowmo...

Lol like is the nrl even serious. Its embarrasing...

"The game's not played in slow motion"

It's a complete meme that Joey says that in commentary and for good reason. Salmon was stopped and he reached out. He had no momentum whatsoever.
