Or in other words, they're playing to their strengths instead of being slaves to rigid #structure - kind of like the old days (70s/80s) of league. What this means is Merrin doesn't have to defend on the edge and Wallace doesn't have to defend in the middle, where neither player is suited.
Bloody he'll its what I said about teps defending in the middle and attacking wide but people say it's too hard

It's not too hard, but it's not ideal. And it relies on having a player to fit the 'opposite' role. There are also problems with uneven work rate. Cartwright is attacking as a half, which requires high involvement with a lot of movement. But defending that extra space in from where a half defends could require him to make twice as many tackles. You don't want your halves to fatigue from too much tackling.
Hope he never has to shake hands with Edward... could be a case of circumcision on the street! The only decent game i have ever seen by Wanger Blake was against us(hardly surprising), the guy has dicks for hands.

True, it's like some big "innovation" that players can swap where they line up in defence!
Cartwright is an awesome attacking player.
My penrith 13+ bet is looking good finally.
We also did it with success in the 1980s, with Taylor and Sterling swapping places in defence, Kenny and Ella sometimes also. They're obviously still using a structure. It's just that their attacking and defensive lineups don't match. We did this in recent years
Badger going the video ref when Souths would've preferred the quick play-the-ball.
