Not expecting us to score many points at all, but I’m keen to see what our defensive patterns and shape looks like vs previous years.

We’re gonna be out-jumped on both wings, but what I don’t want to see is us constantly being stripped on the edges making our wingers isolated. Ruck speed. Discipline. These are things that don’t drop off with injuries at the great clubs as everyone knows the system.

I'm worried about Storm running lines at/through Volkman, given our lack of solid edge defensive options. They've had five days notice and some handy trial game footage to work out the weak point in our defensive line, and Bellamy's no dunce in these matters.

I noticed Bellamy was quoted he noticed in the trials we have already made adjustments in slowing the play the ball down and forcing quick play the balls from last year.
