Exactly, and we wasted one of those uses on 10 minutes of Papalii when our forwards were getting reamed. I’ll be honest with you though the fact we are sitting here arguing about the tactical advantage of potentially having Jordan Samrani on the bench is genuinely depressing.

Samrani might be the best in the club at go forward.

I threw some 189cm players in there as comparison to our tallest players Russell and JDB both at 188.

Just because the players decide to do their own thing, doesn’t mean there’s no plan. Every game plan includes the option of playing eyes up footy at times. But when to do it and when to stick to the plan is a judgement call for whoever’s got the ball at the time.

And the coach, and the trainers who run his messages to the on field leadership.

Obviously fatigue clouds everybody’s judgement.
