Looking at the team live at the ground side on last night its clear we have too many back rowers & not enough front rowers.

Ryles is looking at mobility but you still need punch in the middle.

Unless we get a penalty we can't get it out of over the 30m line in the grind.

Williams isnt a front rower, Guymer isnt anything atm not big enough for a middle or impactful enough on the edge.

I think all the talk about edge back rowers required has over shadowed the need for some boppers with some punch.

Our back 5 are useless in this regard as well.

JAC we have to accept isn't that player but his strengths are elsewhere with speed and we saw that numerous times last night.

Moses isnt 100% - Not goal kicking has bit us on the arse last night. Lomax solves that issue but its too little too late in a crucial tight game.

And you have to question why Moses should be picked for Origin he still doesn't look right with his movement across the park

I don't give a f**k what anyone says, we never ever looked like winning this game from the opening whistle.

This was a contest tonight between two genuine bottom 6 sides. The Dolphins were just a bit better. There is ZERO chance we get out of the bottom 6. Bottom 2 more unrealistic. Spoon most likely.

Iongi is too rocks and diamonds. Dare I say it, terribly overrated.

Brown is f**ken useless.

Samrani has done everything right in every game he's played so far. He's better than any other f**ker we've got as an edge forward.

On a positive note, Moses doing his best to do himself out of an Origin spot.

Russell kicking goals just exemplifies what an utter piece of shit team we are. The sooner he gets back to his rightful reserve grade the better.
The Dolphins might have an average squad but they were excellent last night. Completed well, great scramble and they outlasted the referee’s whistle.

Next week we get Kelma back so will come in for Guymer.
Lomax would be in for Simmonson..

They way the knights scored easily against Souths has me a little worried though, teams with pace outside usually rack up a score

gee Ryles has some work to do, both in coaching and recruitment, we are so under manned
My fear is that he is happy with our current shit forwards and reckons he can polish the turds. The fact that he has either signed or re-signed almost all of our current first grade forwards and keeps picking them concerns me.

Coaching muppets like Penisini to pick up a loose ball and draw and pass might also help.

There is too much left in the cap not to buy players.

We have the same head of recruitment for 5 years, not withstanding the previous coach and a rookie, what the heck has been done to improve the team since the GF.

Canberra without our so-called advantages, sign good players and build their roster. We lack size up front and decisive ball runners, and have we learnt from how Dogs and Tigers changed their momentum

Signing better than average players and understanding the needs of the club and prepared to pay for quality.

We seem to move so slowly in that area and miss a few targets too, not sure we have anyone in recruitment that sells the vision and direction properly. Oh well, fingers crossed we move more like the Roosters and our peers , the style we play is decent , just don’t have class players executing.

Once again we lacked the ability to close out the game. 12 - 6 up and on the attack, but stuffed every chance. Had more opportunities at the end, but couldn't take them.

We will continue to struggle getting the ball out of our 20 after a kick return. Our starting forwards have poor go forward and terrible linespeed.

We need to buy very well for next season.

What is it with our shit line speed? Is it fitness or desire? It’s f**king awful. There is no chance it would be tolerated at a well run club.

Does anyone really think bunji and Ciraldo are good coaches.??? Serious effen question...answer is no.
Players make coaches...these clubs have gone and signed 1st graders hence why their fortunes have changed...
There are actually very few top coaches..most of the good coaches is because of the players....apart from Cleary and Bellamy the rest are just as shit or good as each other

I agree that we are off the pace, but the bolded bit ? That's on rookie Ryles.

The old bloke at Souths had twice the injuries as us and still motivates his players to run through brick walls for him.

It looked like its what the players are coached they take 2 steps and the wait for the ball carrier to get to them.

I assume it's to ensure they move up in a line.
