So you assuming waqa will be MOM?
I don’t think we will lose. Turbo has been back for 4 matches and they beat 3 hot n cold teams Tits, Tigers and Warriors.

I reckon it will be tight, but we won’t leak points like those teams and we won’t let them dominate the middle.

Ok, so go read my previous comments, where did I say we’ll lose?

You said that Turbo would run riot.

So Turbo is going to run riot because Waqu is playing, but the Eels will win anyway. :white_check_mark:

Another good win, did enough early then took the foot off the pedal.

Worrying signs though in the second half. We allowed too many offloads and Blake was continually missing tackles. Hopefully he is better next week.

Overall it was good to win. Both our edges are firing now.

Can someone explain to me why that Fergo try was disallowed? Didn't he have contact with the ball?

He dropped it cold. I reckon Mattos was closer and may of touched line. Either way both butchered them

Any idea what the 6 again count was after we got to 24-0, seemed like an U7 game where the official evens it up.
The average play-the-ball speed was 3.93s (Parra) to 3.54s (Warriors). That's the eighth time in ten games we've let the opposition play the ball quicker than us, which is odd for the team with the most post-contact metres. But hey, at least we've still conceded the fewest penalties.

People are harsh on Blake based on today's game. NZ threw the ball around like wild from the 20th minute mark. Blake also made a few very good tackles. The scramble was great. First game in 9 weeks against a side who has some of the best runners in the nrl. I dont think he was that poor at all.

More missed tackles than fantasy points. Is that a first?
Well missed tackles (along with penalties and errors) reduce your fantasy points, so it's probably not that rare. The reason his total points were so low is because he was uninvolved in attack. He's clearly lost a lot of fitness. In round one he had 4 tackle breaks and 42 post-contact metres. Today he had zero TB and 24 PCM.
