I think his positional sense is poor, which is amplified when he feels he needs to protect his inside defender. Like Gould said, Blake didn't have those defensive problems at Penrith. He'll go better when Drown is back.

They can't just stay on their man vs an overlap. They need to protect their inside shoulder. It's the cover's job to catch the overlap attackers if the ball gets to them.

That’s extremely sweet. I haven’t always been his biggest fan, but you can just tell that BA bleeds blue and gold, and you can see the respect and affection towards him from the other boys there. It’s remarkable how far our team culture has come over the past few years.
