Incredible upside?? I ask again have you been watching at all this year??? He's been utter garbage. He should be a foward leader in this pack instead he's a liability.

Walker does everything he can plus a lot more without the ridiculous mistake and penalty rate.
Way over the top assessment. You’re entitled to your opinion, I just don’t agree.

Yeah, he’s been heavily overrated since he started playing first grade. His general effort and busyness was mistaken for skill from the get-go. He’s certainly regressed since his injury, but I think he was coming off a lower base than many would accept.
He looks heaps bigger this year than previously. Apparently he had a very limited off season. He was so good. Something is a miss. Possibly his past back injury. His D is improving so hopefully his A does likewise. He and Penisini need grippo on their hands.

gee Williams of the edge has been great, one of our best last night

the Fox is playing better every week, so too Samrani

Penisini's ball handling getting worse

So f**king good to see Lomax back

Thats was some very confusing refereeing last night, especially Ms Badger in the bunker

Williams running game was good last night his defence has gotten better and he didn't have any lazy episodes last night( though the knights attack didn't really put much pressure on us)
His passing game needs alot of work we probably could have scored more with a better pass or two from him.

On Penisni having a think about it with Lomax back I hope they continue to work together and build up that last centre/wing combo.
If he can fix the shit house ball handling he will improve.

When did Dylan Walker become such a smart footballer?

Never seen it, always skilled, but never noticed how good his pass selection is in particular.

He was playing like that for the Warriors. Understand why we got him, Great utility bench player
Can play in the middle or in the halves if injury strikes

My only criticism , last night he ran up took a tackle on the 5th (we challenged and it was the 1st tackle)
When there was a good over lap 25 metres from Knights line, we were all moving fast at pace, knights back peddling. Think it was Brown who screamed for the ball. Looked like Walker knew it was going to 1st tackle so just got tackled, rather than going for the opportunity. Think we score, so close to the line

Think we left 3-4 tries out there, nail some of these and we will get better

I get Will made few errors, but he was solid defensively. And his attack was elite level for a centre. Thought it was awesome.

14 runs 182 m, 59 PC, 9 TB, 2 TA, 2 LBA, 1 LB. Defence 1 miss.

He aren't getting dropped any time soon with that attack.

Will keeps his spot for a few more weeks for mine, hopefully his error rate can be minimal. Its crucial for a side like us against the better sides

When everyone is fit, and based on how everyone plays, Ryles should seriously look to spell Will if he is still error prone

We lose nothing in attack with Jordan and Bailey , except maybe are a bit more skillful with the ball and make less errors

I like Will, but he has been in first grade now for 4-5 years full time ? Really should have a bit better skill, and drop off on those errors

I watched his pre match press conference the other day.

Honestly I have no idea where the Dylan Walker who was a f**kwit at Souths and Manly has gone.

The recruitment team deserve a bake but the signing of Walker was a great get.

His probably the best 14 in the comp with the role he plays.
He is in his 30's now...teenagers tend to be a bit wild.

I think some focus to much on attack when rating a player especially with our forwards on why they should/should not be picked!

I suspect Ryles has a greater focus on defence with our forwards!

Look at Hopgood yes his attack isn't like it was 2022, it has dropped off a bit ( but not terrible either). However his defence is still great.

He played 48 mins for 35 tackles for 0 misses.

Compare that to Moretti who no one criticises and plenty talk up, because his attack is great. He played 35 mins last night for 20 tackles and 4 misses. Pretty poor!

So what's better for the side Hopgood's defence? Or Moretti's attack?

Pretty clear not many look at defence when rating our players. Plenty of posts about Hopgood but nothing about Moretti's below average defence!
Good point. The most impressive thing about gaining and keeping our momentum last night was how the middle didn't leak the missed tackles.

Moretti's defensive miss percentage is a worry, but at least it was from the bench when we already had a lead and winning the ruck. He'll be told to do better next week, for sure.

As long as the forwards do their job in Ryles' defensive system, we're in with a chance of our halves etc getting a platform to try things and use their kicking game to have a chance at competing and winning games.

Have you been watching him play lately?? He’s been atrocious only player that’s been worse is the Penis.
Have you??? Or are you just remembering your first impressions of him and that’s the basis of everything he does now?
Probably ready to slobber up Moretti but.
But I don’t want to get into that game, Moretti was fine last night, but Kautoga was better.

Special K was good again last night as Pou said it's his defence that is his best attribute.

Hopgood has been below par for over a year now but I'll give him the benifit of the doubt as he was injured and Ryles will get him good!

Moretti bench middle at best comes on brings the energy which is fine.

You honestly think Hopgood has been good this season?? He’s been utter garbage, why do think Moretti has been promoted?? Poor form??

slobbering on something indeed.
