To play the role you guys want means he can't play more than 50-60 mins. Smith was meant to be our next lock but he has looked f**king awful there.
I'd honestly be sitting down with every forward and telling them they lift by at least 50% or they are gone in September

It's two fold.

In the red zone we are a bit predictable. So having us do something different should help the halves. The 4 straight grand finalists usually hold back plays for late in the season. Moving the emphasis off Yeo in the red zone might be a big bonus later this year if teams aren't sighting it all the time.

And if his number one focus is destroying the middle of the field it's to our benefit. He is our best forward.
