I was a little mincer back then. Running around in the backyard with my football and coming in every 20 min asking what the score was. Would break out into a rash if those games happened now.

I still get edgy whenever I see the last few minutes of the 86 GF. Thoroughly outplayed Canterbury, but had no right to hold them out in that last set. What an era.

I heard on the Tip Sheet pod that the NRL apologised to the Eels Club for the Sivo disallowed try when they said that Simonsson obstructed the 6 from tackling the fijian freight train from scoring in the corner.

Luckily it didn't affect the end result, but would have been nice to have that chance to hit 40.
Refs have been having a proper shocker lately. The on-field refs I can understand some of the time because they don't have the benefit of replay, but some of these bunker decisions have been terrible.
