Ref allowed the Roosters to slow the PTB down noticeably in the second half, in the first half it was far quicker on average than it's been all year yet NRL.com have our PTB speed as slower than the Roosters over the game.

That's the difference for mine between the two halves, we weren't allowed to keep up the tempo we were playing and had to get into the grind. But for a lucky bounce for the Suaalii kick, which come off the side of boot ffs, we matched and bested them in the yardage game. Which I reckon deserves kudos for adapting to the way the game changed.

Sure. I think we played well. But I won't sugar coat it. We won by 10/16. They lost 2 x players to HIA. However we only really used to bench players bar 12mims from Makatoa and Rodwell combined.
They had JWH amd KEARY out who are two of their best. And they are just an average side. Not a top 4 team. Fringe top 8 side. We where at home and fired up.
Yes a good and much needed win but the Roosters without Keary and JWH are not that good a side.

I dunno why people are all worked up about the forward passes .... matto's was most definitely forward .... theirs was flat. Maybe slightly forward, but I have no problem with it being let go. It looked worse than it was cos walker got pushed backwards as he passed.

I'd say half a meter forward. Not flat and not slight. Its was as forward as it could get.

I don't think Matto's pass was forward either. You can see by his arm movement it was passed backwards.
He was running an angle towards the corner. He would have had to pass it way backwards from where his body was angled to not be forward

Just watched the game 1st half was a cracker. Anyone who thinks they’ll “get rid of” Teddy is kidding themselves. He is the NSW captain, probably the Australian captain and a Uncle Nick player for life.

Side note geez that Collins is a good defender.

How do they keep Sualli? What's his position. He will be offered 1 mill elsewhere.

Teddy is contracted untill the end of 2024. Sualii could probably happily stay on the wing untill then. Still be very young.

They also have Manu who is a better fullback than Centre. Who somehow is also getting paid unders to stay.

That is funny considering it's supposed to be worse than that other thing. I hadn't heard that.

Yes I seen signs. Now also doing Flu testing.
My mate with the PHD had an argument with me about getting a flu shot. He had his 2 weeks ago. Right now he is sick with he flu. He said there is like 20 strains and the flu shomonly covers 4 of them.
