What has Ryles, Nathan Brown, Scott Wisemantel and Sam Moa improved since taking over..i know its early days but I'm not seeing any positives to go yep can see what we are trying to do here...
Give me a glimmer...something...
At the moment I just want to hand back my season passes and ask for a full refund...it's just looking awful for the rest of the year..
Can you really write off a season after 2 weeks? Well the answer is yes...we are seriously %#&@%!

I am going to be potentially shot down here but Hopgood is just too slow and over rated...he was good when he joined us but has become a typical parra player..

Everyone seems to forget that it's a team game. It's all about ebbs and flows and when the team is on or not. I think whenever Hopgood pulls on the Eels jersey he gives his best. Currently, we're not up to the task at hand, but when we are he'll be part of the good times.

The reality is this downward spiral started under the stewardship of Sarantinos and ONeil in 2021, the replacements for the 6 or so players that left where such poor quality and that only continued used as poor recruitment continued unabated.

Pou will carry on about clubs at the bottom etc , when we basically had the opportunity to strengthen the roster and those in charge failed. Not certain it’s the cause, but having a Tigers life member in charge hasn’t worked well.

we need a Gus Gould or even a figure like Shane Richardson running the football side of the club, until we put an alpha figure in charge we will go nowhere.

There’s a couple of senior forward ssigned long term who are basically stealing a salary, when your 2 best forwards today were A 19 year old prop who has a PO for next year and a 21 year old hooker not in the top 30 tells the real story. Time to move on and reset the football dept

I can’t disagree. So far Ryles and his crew have been made to look average. But the management should be sacked immediately by the board.

That is 80-85% of the NRL.

The issue is that we have Zero of the 10-15% of the result influencers in that team today.

We only have one result influencer in the club left.

I wouldve told you to be patient if they lost the 2 games by not much, however conceding more than 80 in the first two games with a new coaching staff is really concerning and others are probably asking the same questions.

I feel like he is effective in a strong pack. His hit ups aren't powerfull and his defense isn't bone rattling. His skill set is ball playing and working hard. When the other forwards do little he is not going to help.
Very young side tho. Plenty out. Lot of cap space not used and 3 or 4 players way passed it on HUGE dollars.

I think he is also very overrated. I don’t know if he’s injured but he is a shadow of the player he was in 2023.

I'd put him back to right centre
