Also a case study of why you should hold the bloody ball. We completed at 93% and we were able to play some footy because our opposition was tired from making a lot more tackles than us.

Agree that a high completion is the goal, but as Storm will show next week, they will put so much pressure on us in the ruck, line speed that forces us to take risks and push the pass, that we will be lucky to complete at 65%.

STG had poor line speed, no pressure in the ruck (or got penalised bc they did it poorly) which allowed us to play footy.

The demise of STG is a good case study for those who are calling for BAs head plus the rest of the coaching staff.

Same squad, same coach. As many have said, they didn’t forget to play or coach, but as much as we played smart error free footy, they were a rabble.

STG were a cluster f**k of errors, trying too hard, not trying at times or just bad luck following them around.

Anyone who knows what causes this can earn themselves 6 figures as a NRL team whisperer.

Yep, there were definitely times it looked like Taka was shaping for an idiotic offload attempt. Thankfully he instead held the ball.

I'd say along with Brown and Gutherson getting into some form. Takes time when out for a while. It isn't like we where getting belted so just needed that little bit extra to win.

We didn't miss Alvaro or Mannah.

I doubt Mannah and Alvaro take Smith spot. I assume Gower and Evan. Both who offer more in attack but of course less in defense.
Next year's pack will be very interesting. We have Jnr,Lane,Manu to add. I dont see point of T rex tbh. Unless we release Taka. Or he signs on a small 100k contract.
Lets say Mannah and Danny take Gower and Vaves spot for next season it still leaves the 3 I mentioned to squeeze in along with jnrs coming through.
People had Terepo as 18th man. As I said he is our best prop and is a certain top 17 player. He has come on in leaps and bounds this season.

Mahoney also a reason? We've won 4 out of 6 games that he's played and went very close in another.

I was at the game and missed it. What the f**k is wrong with women commentators? We listen to Bellamy, Hodges, Hadley, Henry and others and they sound dull and boring or offer no real insight in Hadley’s case.

It’s a tough gig to waffle on when there is not something exciting happening and some of the expert takes you hear you wonder how some of these guys ever played or coached the game at such a high level but you realise it’s because they have to fill space and they just talk abut.

So i find it nice to hear a different voice and one from a different point of view.

The world still has a way to go don’t we? Who gives a shit who is talking during a game, i love watching and don’t take the commentators to seriously and they certainly don’t ruin any games for me!!
