Interesting to see how we go the next couple of weeks. We're playing two teams, the Cowboys and Souths, that have both had poor seasons for the overall squad they have and see themselves in our own class. Souths probably have some excuses within injury.

If we want to avoid the spoon, we have to win one of these, plus the match against the Knights.

Cowboys on paper are capable of more than they've been bringing lately, but so have we been most of the year.

If we want to do more than avoid the spoon, build confidence after recent showings against Broncos and Storm, show that the squad is behind Ryles and buying in etc, then a win today is essential.

Bunnies have a Bye in hand, so we need to win today to jump to 20 pts and 13th and then beat Souffs, because Knights v Cowboys next week and both will be on 18 (if we win today). Cowboys also have a Bye to come.
It's very exciting.

Yes, that was my fear seeing Luca starting again. Hopefully Ryles just tells Hopgood to play straight up, and wait until Walker comes on after 20min before any forward tries to do anything there.

They just need some forwards to win the middle... Hess and Taumalolo starting with Cotter, then throw in Bateman and Nanai.

Lucky the Cowboys bench looks weak - we might have to make the most of our opportunities between 20min and 60min marks.
