Plus his passing, decisions making, play making. Other than that he was fantastic.
He was great last week, but a dud this week ? Why do you think that is ?

I’ll tell you, no charge; because his pack last week gave him the room to ply his trade. This week, Storm had great line speed and Moses had 6’5” beasts running at him when he was defending, and 6’5” beasts running at him when he was first receiver. That gave him no room to jink and find runners and no room to get decent kicks away.

Well against the top sides thats what he's going to have to contend with, last week he had all day and to do as he pleased . This week It was a real test which he failed badly, this bloke is meant to be our 7 and main half moving forward. He crumbles under pressure and has absolutely no patience.

He badly needs some halves coaching, he should watch some video's of Joey or JT. He just played dumb for 80mins and wanted to pull off the fancy plays, you can't beat the Storm playing fancy.

He was great last week. And a dud this week. But has been a dud for the previous 10 weeks before the St George game, even when our forwards have held their own. You can’t have your highly paid number 7 having one good game every couple of months.

Agree, we should have a 7 like Joey, JT or Cronk. Maybe you should apply for the GM job. Genius.

In the meantime, it would be good when we play them next time to have a full pack instead of backrowers like Gower and Tep having to play prop for too long because we had two rookies on the bench that offered nothing and 5/8 that let the occasion get to him.

Moses played like Ben Hunt

Agree with Noise, he is probably our most expensive player on huge coin for a reason, needs to deliver more often than not. There has been far too many games this year where our forwards have held their own, but he couldn't step up, or even play a bit above average to guide us home. His defence has improved out of sight, but other parts of his game are very very good... once in a while. Not good enough.

You are the f**kwit making stupid obvious statements like you are some doyen of football. stick to posting articles and being outraged by them FFS

They had no one on the f**king bench and were down to 12 but still he tried to be fancy and never attacked where they were weak. Croft was defending in the centres and Stimpson at where the half would be and we barely went there at all thats got nothing to do who was playing where thats football smarts and game management. Bellamy has been harsh on Croft all season but the kid is learning. When the game was on the line he stood up and got them home. At just 21,has Moses improved his game at all??? is he getting the proper coaching he needs to take his game to the next level. I'd say no but you keep making excuses and playing the man because it's what you do. While the rest of us will discuss what we see instead of making excuses and shifting blame. We live in the real world where Parra are in last place and still go to pieces when they are pressured by quality sides. Of course having Alvaro and Mannah would of helped but we did well to only be 10 down and the second half they were there to be beaten but we continually took dumb option after dumb option, panicked while trying to score off every play. But but but but but but but last week!!!!

Hey, I agree that Hayne Norman Moses and Salmon all went missing in the last 20 and were playing catch-up footy instead of just going for repeat sets. They all panicked and Storm scrambled like the pros that they are.

Having said that, we were paying the price of our pack being dominated for the first 60m. When Reedy went off we were rudderless. My Mum would have given better service than Stone.

Moses gives me the shits. I doubt he will ever become the player we need him to be. We are stuck with him at the moment but unless he steps up I don't see him being a long term solution.
The annoying thing is the talent is there, he does things on the field some players could only dream off. He has a great highlights reel but we need a bloke willing to play tough and do whatever it takes to get us the win. He doesn't seem to want to do that, I was stuck watching the game at a mates and was stuck with the nine commentary team but Johns was spot on in his observations.

We are only stuck with him for next year. It’s up to Brown in preseason and the first half of next year to show us good reason not to renew Moses.

Reynolds was a laughing stock until Burgess x3 Cook and Crichton started to dominate packs. Laying the platform is a fact and not just a throwaway line.

Norman was shifted into the halves near the end but looked gassed while salmon I think was shifted out wider. But the buck should stop with the 7, it's his team now he wants the responsibility it's on him to get the job done. When Munster was off Croft rolled up his sleeves and did what needed to be done to get his team out of the shit. I still say Moses is a 6 and we would be better served with a proper 7 partnering him.

There have been plenty of games this year the pack have held their own or won the ruck and he has delivered SFA.

Do you think there is a reason Moses is on 700k, Ben Hunt 1mill, and guys like Sam(lol)Williams are cutting 350k paychecks per year?

Is it, maybe, because top halves in the NRL are an absolute rarity?? So anyone halfway decent earns significant coin....

Moses isn’t a 6. If it’s not working, then punt him. Be careful what you wish for because there are dozens of Kane Elgey’s out there that will cost you a squillion only to find that they are worse. Hell even wonderkid Ash Taylor has struggled to become the player that everyone predicted.

Seriously how many good 7s are out there ? Broncos dont have one. Storm, Tits, Knights, Dogs, Raiders and even Dragons would love one.

If he's not a 6 he's definitely not a 7 then.

He is here next year wether we like it or not, I think the club needs to invest into a quality halves coach. Especially with young Brown coming through as well, Matty Johns is a dick but he seems to be a halves whsiperer. He's helped Cronk and Munster just to name two.
