That’s a poor take on a bad and reckless shot, Dylan got 3 weeks with a good record, Matto got 3 weeks when he had his feet set and was immobile when his shoulder hit high.Latrelle ran in and snotted Manu and should get minimum 6 weeks. Playing the Scum in the finals is incidental to an horrific head shot.

Holy f**king shit i only just finished watching the game and FMD, that was so many times worse than the Matto tackle and all i heard was that Matto's tackle was sickening and he should have gotten longer.

I have heard no such hyperbole about Mitchell protected species) yet, Fox said it was bad but they did not carry on like they did after Matto's tackle.

Good on Robbo, he was right with everything he said (even the bit about the bunker failing in our game) and he should be given a bonus for that accurate rant, not fined for telling the 100% truth.

Sure give him 5 weeks. But each finals game should count for 2 atleast.

Well both Souffs and Rorters are playing finals so you’re basically green lighting cheap shots in the hope that the player you injure (Manu) is out longer than the perpetrator (Loltrell). If this was Jackson Paulo or Mansauce rather than Loltrell, no one would give a shit or more likely Gus would rabbit on about how they should be rubbed out for as long as Manu is out injured.
Yes finals are a bit more weighty but I think they’ve gotten it as good as they are going to with fining low grade offences rather than suspensions. High grade offences (like Loltrell’s) and repeat offenders (like Loltrell) should be punished consistently regardless of the games it means they will be suspended for. The alternative is he injures Manu who misses those games and then comes back for finals with a high likelihood of injuring another player who will also miss finals

Technically, if Manly lose/throw their game against the Bulldogs tomorrow (to avoid 4th) and we happen to upset the Storm tonight, then we would be back in 4th and maybe staring at week 1 final rematch with a switched on Storm... no thanks!

So long as we compete for 80mins and don't fold, I won't lose too much sleep over a loss tonight, and a final against the Knights, Sharks or Raiders instead.

Manly will not mind finishing 4th at all. They believe they can beat the Scum storm. They will not be throwing any games...they almost beat them 2 weeks ago
