Made it here yesterday with the family in tow. First trip to Townsville and it seems quite a pleasant big country town (a bit like Hay, only slower).

Weather won't be a factor as it's forecast to be a manageable 22c around kick off.

Had the Eels squad on the plane with us and I reckon an ambush is on the cards.

So when I was in Townsville once I was told that there are crocs at Magnetic Island from time to time.
