Great win but the soft defence at the end is a worry.

They just become complacent. In a way a good lesson. Had those plays ended in ourself scoring and its 36-4 the players do it again next time around.
They'll learn at 20-0 still need to just play it safe. You don't need more points. You just want to keep them from getting any. Or making it as difficult as possible. It's more about field position and making them have to take larger risks to make meters and score points.

Greetings from Crackenback legends. What a cracking game and an outstanding performance. Full credit to the boys (and BA) on a top 4 finish. Credit where it’s deserved. I’ll just say that the slide defence which we’ve all been calling for is a much better defensive structure. I’m not sure why it’s taken until now, but good on the coaching staff for working on it.

Whats funny is we may have to beat Penrith 4 x this season to win the Grand final.
And if we did lose next week most likely would face the Storm again. Canberra are coming home well. They'll be very physical.

Just on the way home from the game. Outstanding effort from the boys. Yes they let in some easy tries in the end, but it seemed at the ground that Ice was absolutely rooted and he made some misses.
Either way, I’ll take a great win at home over the grub merkins every single time.
GO YOU MIGHTY EELS!!!!!
