A tale of two cities.
Both sides use halfback. One play a contender away from home and dominates them. The other play wooden spoon favourites in own backyard with an 8 point lead and them down to 12 and get beat.

Pathetic coaching
Mate we are so far off being a contender it isn't even funny, we won't make the eight again this year and on the off chance we do it'll be for a round one blow out. I agree with the pathetic coaching though, it's time for BA to go.

Watched the game with some mates, one of them turns to me with about 10 to go and says how is Brad Arthur still at your club. You are the worst coached side in the comp.

I just sighed and went to the fridge and got another can of rum.

We won most of the key stats except the scoreboard.

We were beaten by a team who didn't play well, who will likely win the wooden spoon.

We had our chances to take easy 2 points in the first half, that was ultimately going to be the difference in the end.

Anyone still need convincing how much we'll actually struggle without Moses?

Matterson and Paulo starting was dumb coaching.
Come off it mate. Tigers won’t get the spoon. Titans will be lucky to win a game. They played alright today. They’re on the up.

As for your comment about anyone needing convincing about struggling without Moses? There’s not one person who thought that. We just weren’t all ready to throw in the towel like a softcock 2 minutes after finding out he was injured.

Very few positives to take from that performance. Brown was alright and Gutherson was fine, most everything else was very average. Bizarrely, I think we missed Cartwright almost as much as Moses. The forwards were poor across the board except possibly Joe O and RCG, Lussick had an all time stinker, and our outside back woes continue on one side. That was one to bank, and it’s extremely frustrating not to, because it was there for the taking. Credit to the Tigers though, they were gutsy.

Convinced then?
Just because I didn’t throw a hissy fit and tell everyone see you next year doesn’t mean I had any confidence in our side without him. Was prepared to watch at least two games before writing them off.

Penrith are the only team who wouldn’t struggle without their halfback.
