Historically in the BA era, games in these circumstances we have generally fronted up and put in a top performance and got the win.

Will this be one of those days?

The Cowboys aren't that great a team, and don't have that great a record in Sydney. Their form is a bit like the Dolphins and a little bit overrated to have them at the top of the ladder. I think someone posted the other day that they haven't won a game in Sydney after a 6 day turnaround from a match in Townsville in 6 season or something?

The coaches really should have been into them all week about how pathetic last weeks performance against the Raiders was. Anything less than a strong performance here will be extremely disappointing. A follow up performance like last week would be diabolical.

Without Moses we just have to find a way.

That Gol guy on TCT has written a very good and very frightening preview of this game. It’s worth a read.
specifically the fact that the very nature of our game plan is being picked apart easily by a new philosophy built around speed.

This is an excellent preview (dare I say a prediction?). I agree with it all, but the fact that I already knew all of this before reading the post is the major concern. To be honest it's like setting up a video camera on a street corner just waiting for the expected car crash to actually happen.

It will be interesting to see if the match pans out as is predicted.

The only way we win today today is if the Cows don’t turn up and have one of those days that they think it’s in the bag.

The footy gods need to shine on us today.

A win wouldnt surprise me today Gronky but even if that happens we know its only a week or two before we are right back here.
The 2s look a better side today. Im looking forward to watching. I know im a masochist but what the heck!

Think we go better than ok

We seem energy zapped when Easter Monday came around and the 615pm on a Sunday in Canberra

Saturday 530pm hits the spot I reckon

We lose tonight , then huge probs imo..

Quietly confident though…

Love some of Gol's phrasing there...

"the perpetually gassed Joey Lussick will again be asked to play about 20 minutes more than I am comfortable with him playing" 😂

"the new way of attacking is designed to exploit the slide defence that every team in the league uses, [and] while Parramatta has never effectively mastered the technique..."

"You don’t fix a defence in a week, but you can sure as heck spot your opponents weaknesses and exploit them in a couple of video sessions."

Yep its the type of game when everyone writes us off including the fans they decide to show up and pluck a performance out there arse.

I reckon there were 2 games last year against souths and Penrith on the road most were expecting floggings and we came out and demolished them.

I think the covid year was similar we were in QLD Hub got smashed for 4 weeks straight then ran into a Melbourne side who had 19 straight.

Pre-game everyone including me thinking it was going a purple murder and from nowhere we plucked an incredible performance 2 weeks out from finals and bashed Melbourne up like rarely done before to get us back into form.

Ya reckon the giant cards and appropriately costumed dancers will be back today KG?
I reckon they will be and I love it.
I mean as long as the club is doing all it can to improve game day experience for fans and keep those record membership numbers coming in, who cares whether we win or lose the actual footy game. There is always next week or even next year right.
