We won because Jnr and Morreti both ran straight and hard along with Pensini.
Take out KK and Kelmas dumb errors and missed tackles and Volkmans crisp attack and we are 12-18 points better a side.
Our tries had some individual brilliance to them.
TDS and Walker need to work on their ball playing. But at the same time we dont want them to stop playing football. Just need to know what time of the game to pull the trigger.

It was disciplined, for a change. Hardly any cheap errors and turnovers. Respect for the ball and possession (mostly, TDS!). Running straight to actually try and win the middle, instead of dancing around on soft runs and going nowhere. Good defence with players that might not be attacking threats but at least have a brain in the defensive line.

Just do the basics and do them well. Rinse and repeat. Keep it up and they might just rescue the season - despite those appalling 50-point loss failures...

Summed up perfectly

And unlike most teams, we got a half that can kick sides to death. Really evident yesterday

Always thought JAC was a bit of rat bag merkin, but he has been brilliant for Parra. Arguably getting better.

And he seems to love the club and fans,..

Id ink him in for an extension right now !!! Dont think he is signed beyond this year

Was out yesterday and finally got to watch it.
First, what a great game - thanks largely to the referee! I never realised how much I hate the sound of the 6 Again bell until I didn’t hear it!
Couple of noticeables:
Volkman. Played well. Missed tackles were no big deal as they were covered and made while leading line speed. I like this kid. Enjoy NSW Cup, Pezet.
Penisini. It wasn’t just his strong running that did it, he also dropped that little hop, skip thing he used to do. Made all the difference.
Junior. He’s been one week ‘on’ the next ‘off’. Stay ‘on’ Jnr, you’re a beast.
Guymer. Actually looked good.
Pryke. Great debut.
Kelly. His best game for us. Just wish he wasn’t the Dog’s best as well. Too many mistakes and misreads.

Overall I loved the young guys and the energy across the park. We just need to dropped the Storm/Titan’s efforts and repeat effort we showed against Tigers and Dogs.
