WA Reds Face Big Task in Newcastle
The Cash Converters WA Reds face a big hurdle this week against second placed Newcastle Knights at Energy Australia Stadium in the national under 18 SG Ball competition.
The Knights lost their first game last week and represent one of the biggest challenges this year for the Perth side. It will be more a test of character for the team as they face their longest road trip and one of the best sides in the competition.
The WA Reds should have won last week and won easily. They failed to use the advantages they built and could have had their third win for the season and confidence that goes with it. Achieving success in Newcastle will test the resolve of the players.
Some more changes have been made to the line-up to try to get balance into the side, but it will be a matter of the boys putting in an extra effort.
Andrew Korn was disappointed last week, but he knows it is his job to get the players to the level needed. Success for the season will be on the growth of the players and they still need to learn how to play at this level.
The kick off is on Sunday at 10am as a lead in game to the NRL clash between the Knights and St George.
