Well I use the expression, as there is clearly at this stage 5 teams that are well above the rest, but one of them will obviously miss out on the Top 4, which is where you seem to need to be come seasons end to win the comp. All 5 are realistically Top 4 teams though. It use to be 6, but stuffed if I know what is doing with the Faids.

Being in the top 7-9 is so much better than being in the bottom 8

Matterson and Papali'i are better edge forwards than Lane so it makes sense that they play there. And with Lane on the bench we don't lose any height when RCG has a rest. Finally, Paulo's skills are wasted early on when the defence is working hard and f**king about in the ruck.

Obviously there's good reasons for Paulo starting the game as well, but he can't do both. Pros and cons.
