Good game, very fast.

Dragons have been better and penalties are killing us. The Moeroa penalty on Norman changed the game (was the correct call)

However gee the refs can change the game, Moses gets penalised for being in the ruck, which was fair enough. But it really didn’t affect the play.

Then around 10 to go kaufusi (I think) makes a break, ref calls held, he tries to play the ball, but dragons hold for a good 2 seconds and graham also gets involved after the held call. No penalty. Should have been a clear penalty, dragons then score not long after. That’s crap!! What’s the use of 2 refs if they let that go!!

A smart team would’ve played for the penalty there. Kaufusi would’ve gotten one if he’d just tried to play the ball quickly. Even we wouldn’t have been dumb enough to turn down the two points.

Then we’d be down by six rather than eight.

Back in it somewhat, likely to get square ups at some stage given we had no ball and that's how refs work these days (that offside penalty from the kick off was such an obvious one lol).

Terepo and Moeroa could use a stint in Wenty IMO. Oregon has been the best forward, guys like those twonmentioned should be embarrassed by that

Yeah but I don't mind that mistake. 50 seconds to go on the attack pushing an offload 1m out. Maybe a more experienced player goes to ground and milks it, but that's stuff you learn over years in the game

Kicking game hasn’t been good enough. We need to kick more to the corners rather than the mid field bombs. Then we need to chase the kick or it’s pointless. Have to be more disciplined so as not to turn momentum against us. Need to stop pushing or trying to push passes that aren’t on. I think Moses needs to be a bit deeper when it’s time to kick.

The problem is that the interview with Brown during the week didn’t give us much hope that he’d be back this year......

Moses’ foot was only in the play the ball because a dragons player had pulled him over and then like you said it still didn’t cause the ball to be played forward
