Can’t really play Hopgood as a lock who compete full time as a middle, he’s more a ball playing lock as we saw years ago.Would probably start Matterson there and change up with Hopgood once the sting has gone out of the game, say 20 minutes. Then could use Matto as part of the prop rotation from that point.

Kautonga and Russell are decent back ups, that’s their value not consistent starters as they are currently.

Hopgood still Looks injured to me. He’s very slow.

I still see something in him. His defence is better than The Temora Tiger lily and has more size and penetration.

See I don't agree at all with this his defense isn't any better and he doesn't get involved to complete tackles like Guymer does..

He has done dumber shit than Guymer (who I am no way defending) doesn't hit the line at speed he just plods.

We had 45% of the ball, a side like us aint winning too many games this way, if any

Junior had the most runs with 13 from the starting pack (next was Kautoga with 10)
Only two players had more runs than Junior - Iongi 19, Simmonson 18

Tackle count is interesting, never though junior would lead the way outside the hooker
top 6
Riley Smith 57 tackles 7 misses
Junior 44 tackles no misses
J Williams 37 tackles , 4 misses
Guymer 34 tackles no misses
Dylan Walker 28 tackles, 6 misses
Kautoga 31 tackles no misses

Junior was close to one of our best tonight, he put in big time without the ball, and was dangerous in attack, some of his off loads were quality and got us going forward.

Our backline is going to be fine ,especially with Lomax back. We are going to need a couple of quality forwards though. Guymer and Kautoga may come good with more experience, but atm they seem a little off pace for first grade
