I agree. I reckon he contested the ball originally but when he realised the shark player got it, he grabbed at his arm and dragged him down. He knew what he was doing.

Or in a microsecond, his brain realised he was free falling from 5 feet and instinctively grabbed onto something to brace his fall, a reflexive protective mechanism triggered by the anticipation of impact.

For Anyone at the game, what are our decoy runs like? I still think it's bad from watching on tv as we don't really strip sides for numbers

If you watch the good teams, they usually attack with 2 or 3 decoys which compresses the defense. We tend to use the one decoy near the ruck and everyone else is lined up out wide to receive the ball without any decoy runs to hold the defense up.

Can anyone shed some light please
