Correct me if I'm wrong here but didn't Jack Gibson have Sludge lined up to play 5/8 that season before Bugden took him out?
I remember Jack saying something along the lines of most of the teams plays were built around Steve at 5/8 and it all had to be restructured after 10 mins of the season.

Hows Michael Porter looking these days? Mitch wouldn't have changed much. Had a few drinks with both those dudes back in the day.
Mitch could play I reckon
Fit as.
Mick still looks the same
Crew cut still. obviously getting on a bit
But hey he is not fat at all
He looks pretty fit
Seemed to know all the old locals.
