Dave Williams is asking a fair bit and been chased heavily by Parra and Sharks. Not worth paying overs for a winger. Lestrange isnt really required now Ballin has developed into a top class hooker and a 80 minute player. Hall is expendable. Foran to 6 and Bailey to 2nd row.

I would also let King go at the first chance possible. Simply not that great anymore.

But, I would use the money we do have left over to bring Chris Hicks who is off contract at the end of the season and said when he left he would love to return to Manly.

Isn't robertson off-contract as well? I remember reading how two premiership winning wingers were off and possibly competing for the one available contract (due to salary cap). As much as wolfy is a character and a decent player Robbo needs to be retained, as does orford with a reduced salary, and imo hall, but if there is no room for hall then its not the end of the world. Same with king, although you dont want to lose two many big men in one season.

Sorry guys but I would release Williams...too small and did not look confident last night. He may improve with a few games but I don't think he is a great winger.

How is Rodney going for you guys?

My fave player and would have gone close to rep selection if it weren't for his injury.

Not the biggest player but has great defensive technique and runs good lines in attack. Can also get his hands free in the tackle.

Foran is a 5/8. Means losing Cherry-Evans.

I dont see the point at throwing money at Hicks, if Williams or lyon leave then Bani steps into the breach

Bani's also off contract, isn't he? With Stewart out for another ten weeks it should be whoever plays best between him and Williams gets the contract, the other is let go.

Can afford to lose Hall but wouldn't mind him staying around as a bench player. L'Estrange we should keep and Orford for one more year so Foran can come in and play a year at 5/8th learning off him before Cherry-Evans gets the nod for halfback in 2011.

And Rodney is great, he's forming a good combo with Cuthbertson around the ruck, he's the one there to get a lot of his offloads.
