So we compare apples with apples, how many times he has performed this role in the NRL in the last 5 years? Take your time....

Argh, are you making my point for me?

How can you guys criticise him when you've not watched the bloke play the style of football he will?

The facts are, and no one can deny this, when he is in a position where he can run the football, he's very good at it. He's done it from fullback and on the wing. His faults were things which he won't have to deal with in the middle. You guys then go on to criticise his ball playing. Something he won't have to do. He's spent the last years performing very well at a level comparable to NRL level. In fact, he's been doing it in a competition which, recently, has had a slower play the ball than ours.

I've seen him perform just the role we need for the last few years, at a standard I can't remember us ever having. But go on talking about his abilities to do things he'll no longer be required to do.

Fitzy is back but it wont stop his most tries for Wests tigers record getting beat in 2010. Tuiaki, Marshall and Lawrence are getting close and they have played around half the amount of games. If Tuiaki plays most of the season he will get past Fitzy's record easily. Benji and Lawrence might too.

Benji will beat Caine's record if he is the goalkicker and stays uninjured for most of the yr.
did you use mathematics to work that out?

Those asking if the Fitz has ever run through anything, re-watch the fitzy highlights video on youtube.

Raiders, Panthers and Broncos all felt the wrath of a Fitz Blitz, just off the top of my head.

But one only needs to look at WHO he beat in that highlights reel. Virtually the best players in the world and many representatives too!!

Showing plenty of ticker to take on Sonny-Bill and Frank Pritchard.

List of some of the players he simply outclassed on BOTH flanks in the clip:

Luke Patten
Rhys Wesser
Matty Bowen
Mitch Brown
David Peachey
Paul Gallen
Lance Thompson
Corey Parker
Sam Thaiday
Greg Inglis
Johnathan Thurston
Ty Williams

So he was running straight through Australian and Origin reps on left and right sides of the field. 2010 will see him run through representative opposition in the middle.
