I brought in 15 quality players, some of whom would walk into many NRL teams.

Koukash has bought a platoon of stars for the 2014 Super League season, including veteran Adrian Morley, English internationals Rangi Chase and Gareth Hock, and NRL players Junior Sa'u and Lama Tasi.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

As if SBW would live in Manchester.

Not happening in a million years.

I like Koukash though. A salesman of the highest order.

Maybe he should try and get some high profile SL talent to build a semi competitive team before trying to raid the NRL of its stars.

He won't get SBW, just like he didn't before, just like he didn't get Tomkins etc

Sau, Tasi, Morley, Frank Puletua, Meli, Hock, Chase, Mullaney, Tim Smith, Steve Rapira. Half of them are in the final years of their career, the other half were either fringe first graders or players who had 1-2 good seasons before fading.

He's good for a headline. That's about it.

Koukash has already tried to bid for Sam Tomkins, and publicly bragged that he was going to break the salary cap amongst other things. He also claimed that he wants to start his own TV channel. SBW outright stated that he won't be going to Salford about 2 weeks ago, so there's nothing in this. Koukash is great for Salford though.

would a "signing on fee" count towards the salary cap?

not gonna happen but could koukash give sbw a £2m signing on fee.. then put sbw on a low wage to fit him within the current cap?

sounds to easy of a cheat for it to be allowed lol

Im not convinced by Salford's signings- a lot are getting on a Bit, and whilst the intention is there as well as the direction, the public will need to turn up
