They still have to be solvent next year for Koukash to wipe the debt.It was the least he could do seeing that they never achieved what he predicted, at least the Salford club is still going when a lessor benefactor would have seen them struggling in League 1.
I can’t see them being solvent on attendances like that. Its a bot hard to make ends meet when less than 3k fans turn up for games.
The reasoning being adam is that Salford is a city in it’s own right and rightly or wrongly they don’t like being called or classed as Mancunians. The problem there is that the city isn’t supporting their team, even less so since the move to the AJ which has poor transport links.Seems like a matter of time before they drop.
It would be a pity to have no top flight teams near Manchester but Salford haven't engaged the city nor have they seemed interested in doing so.

I beg your forgiveness.Yep aware of that. Why I said "near" rather than "in" Manchester. Wasn't attempting to imply anything other than what I stated.
The stadium does them no favours. Transport links are terrible and that forces people into driving there but then the car parking isn't great either. There's nothing close by to encourage fans to turn up early. If koocash had thrown money at fan engagement and getting the infrastructure of the club stronger, rather than rash expensive signings and fanciful logo changes, he might have left the club on firmer foundations and with more fans supporting them.
