Jimmy having a cry about something yet again.
How unusual.
Majority of red v member voted for it.
Thats how it works.
At least it give jimmy something to whine about.
Have a cry jimmy.

Can I borrow your hankerchief?

I bet you’re a part of the “you’re not a true supporter” mentality relishing mediocrity at every opportunity.

Feel free to support Norths if you want.

The cap is fine.

Nothing special nothing offensive.

Couldn't give a shit about the black either. If people want it, I see no problem

If you remember at the formation of the JV in 1998/99, three points were made:

1. the Dragons’ jumper with the iconic Red V would NOT change.

2. the name St. George would NOT change nor would its emblem.

and 3. the colours (red and white since 1921) would NOT change.

Saying you couldn’t give a shit about people wearing black is the same insouciance which encourages dickheads such as Doust and MacDonald to muck around with traditions (eg.right game/right venue rubbish and an idea to take home games to the new Western Sydney Stadium aka Parramatta Stadium).

It’s these seemingly innocuous changes that give club officials “Carte Blanche” to do as they please.

Must agree with you on the cap - too much black and for anyone with balding head it’s next to useless in summer with 1/2 the cap made out of that netting material.

I’d go as far to say the cap is shit-acular.

It’s the worst since 2007, and the quality (or lack thereof) of that particular version was cringeworthy.

The club NEVER gave an indication that the cap would be half netting material either.

Who cares, it hasn't come onto the jersey nor has it become part of the overall brand so I see no reason to think anything of it at all

We’ve already seen these changes on the jersey and (particularly) on merchandise.

Are we Saints or the North Sydney Bears?

The idea that anyone could get us confused with North Sydney Bears because of some training shirts and a charity sheild jersey is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Personally I think there's nothing wrong with black as a "third" colour for training, merch and special jerseys. It is in our logo and it's not like it's some random colour like blue or orange just appearing out of nowhere

Must admit that the ‘ shade cloth ‘ material at the back looks rather shabby as the one I received was sewn on by somebody who was apparently ‘ cocked-eyed ‘ . Not that I am complaining, as it does the job for me and that is to shade my noggin whilst mowing the lawn and looking respectable at the same time . All I need now is a pair of thongs to match and I will really look dapper .

Although the mental image of you wearing just this and a hat whilst mowing the lawn is not what I need right about now..

Black is an awesome accessory that goes with everything. As long as we’re predominantly red and white then I can’t see an issue.
