lol.

We don't agree with your opinion so now we are "so called Eels fans".

Suity

 Agreed, Reddy seems to be off limits to some. But Morts,Robbo,Loko,MK,and Lasalo etc etc etc.......

That's not my point. He's still been a solid player for us over the last 7 years and simply taking a "good riddance" attitude towards him after he's suffered a season ending injury is just poor form. But that doesn't surprise me coming from you.

I for one admire his efforts over the years for us and wish him all the best for his future career in the NRL if (more than likely) he moves on next season.

Bullshit, this is hardly a good riddance post. I call it as i see it he has been poor this year and has gone backwards the last 18 months. Shame because in 2009 he played outstanding for us.

Reddy may have played his last game for Parra, he's been a more than handy player for us over the years. Hardly the world beater some people on here think he has been. Either way i wish him all the best.

He has been a solid & consistent player for us for a few years now but hasn't improved for a while. Thanks for your efforts over the years Joes, but it's time for the Eels to move on.

My apologies. I meant that last comment in regards to Suity's post not yours in direct comment to my previous post.

No probs mate, i always rated Joel just a shame he hasn't gone on with it. Funny thing is we win the 09 GF he is a bolter for a Kangaroos spot 18 months later who looks to be leaving.

Suity were you being ironic? You always look down at eels fans that are not as "fanatic" as you.

Shutup. Also I swear you and Bazal can't read sometimes. He said that you were being less of an eel fan because you weren't showing any compassion for a season ending injury to one of our main players, not because you have a different opinion to him. FMD.

Also Reddy was a solid player and still does have the potential to go on to bigger and better things. He has done a lot for us despite the last two weeks of defence.

Thank you Reddy, you will still be one of my favorite players no matter where you go.

If you decide to stay I would very much like that as well though I realise it's not going to be for as much money as you will get elsewhere.

You will prosper in a good team (like we may be next year).

One of many Eels players who peaked in 09... one whose departure draws a general shrug, while another's non-selection in rep sides is treated like a miscarriage of justice .

Either way, injury is a bad way to end your stint with a club. I suspect he won't be offered a renewal on current form, and will sign a reduced deal for next year with another club.

Besides the fact he let in about 6 tries i have no idea..........

Of course it was all his fault. This seems to be one of those cases where any mistake a player makes means it cost us the game, and any good things he does (like 3 line breaks...) wasn't his doing at all and Hayne deserves all the credit as always.

It amazes me how some fans whinge about loyalty and what not and then turn on their own players after a few bad games. Oh wait no it doesn't, cause that's just what Eels fans do.

It looks like from 09 we will have lost Reddy, Grothe, Inu, Cayless, Keating and Mateo who all played their first game for Parramatta, as well as Tahu, Lowrie, Kingston and Galuvao. Add to that people have already turned on Mortimer, Robson, Burt, M. Keating and whoever else. Can't wait until people want Hindmarsh out of the club.

f**k you're an idiot. Bazal hasn't even posted in this thread.
I understand your manlove for Reddy, but I feel decidedly uncomfortable about your man love for me. You keep replying to posts of mine even though they aren't directed at you, and abusing the hell out of me.
You really have to stop wanking off over my posts in the wee small hours of the night.

Suity

PS. I love you.

I don't think anyone is upset that Ben Smith isn't being selected in rep sides?

Or are you referring to Mateo?

Possibly Inu? (although, to be fair, he peaked in 2007)

[I do understand the geniused dig you're attempting to make, and that you keep on trying to make, but you really need to give it up. It simply stains any comment you make about the football ability of any player. If you cannot recognise how well a certain fullback is playing and has been playing, then you don't know enough about league to comment on players in general.]

I didn't think it was possible for Bartman to turn this thread into a shot at Hayne but he has gone and proven me wrong. This is getting as predictable as Raider Pete and Tim Smith
In regards to Reddy, has been good for us in the past but has seemingly gone stale, maybe due to injuries but if he wants to stay a centre i think him and the club would be better if he moved on. Could handle him staying as a winger though.
Shame to end his Eels career through injury though if that is to be the way it goes

LOL you really are building yourself quite a little following of posters with anger issues stalking you throughout this forum.

Don't know what your doing that's annoying them but apparently it's enough to make it worth the effort.

Reddy isn't a good winger. Centre or fullback.

Good in the air, can hit a hole, pretty strong running the ball out of our own half. Exactly what you want out of a winger. Put him with a good centre defensively and his defensive issues are no longer a problem. That and he is then on wingers money rather than centres.

I am a bit confused as to why so many people have spoken so negatively about Reddy, I think he has been a good solid player for Parra over the years, often I have thought he has been one of our most consistent players in the past years (disregarding the past few weeks).

reddy was a solid centre when he was in form. nothing special in attack but could hold his own in defense. since it came out that he has strong desires to leave us at seasons end , i do not care for him one bit. i dont wish bad upon anybody but the fact he cant play out the rest of the season so he can bump up his market value im glad about. so long reddy , u will be replaced with ease next year. hope u enjoy nsw cup with jono wright next year
